Thomas Jefferson Classical swept all six singles matches and all three doubles contests to defeat Polk County 9-0 in Monday’s non-conference boys tennis match at Polk.
Jasper Fagan topped Harris Windsor 6-4, 7-5 at No. 1 singles. Jack Hamrick defeated Charlie Wagoner 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles while Jack Perison defeated Jacob Jenne 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3.
Ishan Palikh defeated Morgan Allen 6-2, 6-4 at No. 4, Dylan Betancur defeated Ethan Jenne 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 and Grayson Hamrick defeated Isaac Hodges 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6.

In doubles, Fagan and Perison defeated Wagoner and Windsor 8-4 at No. 1, Jack Hamrick and Palikh defeated the Jenne brothers 8-1 at No. 2, and Betancur and Grayson Hamrick defeated Allen and Hodges 8-0 at No. 3.
“It just wasn’t our day,” Polk County head coach Shaun Jenne said. “Win or lose, doing your best, keeping your head up and good sportsmanship trumps.”
Polk County (3-3) travels to Madison on Wednesday for a Western Highlands Conference match.
