Polk County again dominated an early-season foe, topping East Rutherford 9-0 Monday in non-conference boys tennis action at Polk.
The Wolverines swept the day’s matches in their home season opener to improve to 2-0. Polk County travels Tuesday to face Kings Mountain.
Ryan Heider notched a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles to set the tone for the day. Polk County lost just one set in the nine matches.
