A late addition to Polk County’s boys tennis schedule provided the Wolverines an opportunity to continue their perfect start to the current season.
Polk County hosted Madison on Thursday and rolled to an 8-1 victory, improving the Wolverines’ record to 3-0.
Madison is in its first season with a boys tennis team and looking to build its program, and that lack of experience helped Polk County sweep singles play. The Wolverines also claimed wins at No.1 and No. 2 doubles.
Polk County will begin conference play on Monday, hosting R-S Central.
