Polk County has named Shaun Jenne as its new men’s tennis coach, athletic director Michelle Fagan announced.

Jenne brings a lifelong passion for tennis and a deep connection to the Polk County tennis tradition. He began playing the sport in 1995 alongside his wife, Angela, a former Wolverine standout under coach Jim Click. Angela Jenné will serve as an assistant coach.

The couple has competed and coached for decades, developing elite talent within their own family. Their son Ryan played at Methodist University, and their daughter Hannah won a 1A doubles state championship for the Wolverines. Three more of their children currently represent Polk County on the courts.

Becker will continue leading the women’s program.
