Polk County returned to the win column on Tuesday, topping East Henderson 5-4 in boys tennis action in Flat Rock.
The Wolverines (4-1) rebounded from their first loss of the season last week against R-S Central with the non-conference victory.
The teams split the day’s singles matches, but Polk County earned wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to claim the match as Ryan Heider and Adam Kehrer teamed for an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles and Henry Heider and Grant Waddell sealed the win at No. 2 with an 8-4 victory.
Polk County returns home Wednesday to host Kings Mountain in a match beginning at 4 p.m.
