Polk County’s varsity boys tennis team faced a challenging outing Monday, falling 9-0 to Hendersonville in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match in Hendersonville.
The young Wolverines (1-2) were unable to secure a victory in any of the singles or doubles matches against a veteran Bearcat squad.
Polk County will look to rebound next week when they return home March 12, hosting East Rutherford in a conference matchup scheduled for 4 p.m.
