Wolverines place five on All-Area boys soccer squad

Five Polk County players have been named to the Times-News All-Area boys soccer squad, the five representing the most selections for any area high school.

Seniors Brad Blackwell, Garrett Weicker, Nate Smart, Wil Rimer and Jeremy Allsbrook were chosen for the squad. Hendersonville had four players named to the squad.

The five seniors led Polk County to a 17-5-1 record, the Western Highlands Conference regular-season championship and the third round of the state 2A playoffs.
