Wylie Rauschenbach scored two goals and Joseph Butts added a third as Polk County’s junior varsity topped East Rutherford 3-0 Thuursday evening at G.M. Tennant Stadium.

The Wolverines improved to 2-5 with the win.

“This is the first time the team has played together,” said Polk County JV coach Rogelio Najera. “No one got upset and everybody had a good time. I see a lot of potential for this team. We’ve come a long way.”

Polk County is slated to be on the road Monday, traveling to Smoky Mountain for a 5 p.m. clash.
