Polk County rolled Monday to a 9-1 victory over Mitchell in Western Highlands Conference boys soccer action in Ledger.

Issac Edwards and Nicolas Lopez each scored two goals to lead Polk County (6-8-1, 2-1). Edwards also had three assists and Lopez had an assist.

Mitchell fell to 0-10, 0-3 with the loss.

Joining the goal parade for the Wolverines in their highest total of the season included Sean Hudson, Grayson Jones, Jack Tinkler, Mateo Mendoza and Jonah Wyatt.

Jones also had two assists for Polk County, which returns home Wednesday to host Mountain Heritage in another WHC match.
