Polk County’s junior varsity opened its 2019 season on Tuesday with a 1-1 draw against Enka in non-conference action at G.M. Tennant Stadium.

Jack Smith scored a first-half goal for the Wolverines (0-0-1).

Evan Jones nearly put Polk County ahead late in the match, but saw his shot hit one of the posts and bounce away from the goal.
