Polk County Middle concluded its boys soccer season on Monday with a 4-1 victory over Rugby Middle at Utz Field.
The Wolverines concluded their regular season with a 7-5 record and will next compete in the Blue Ridge Conference postseason tournament.
Brinson Ashworth opened the scoring in the seventh minute, taking one touch to find the net off a Blake Anderson corner kick.
Tanner Osborn’s long drive in the 23rd minute found the upper half of the net to give Polk a 2-0 lead, and Anderson made it 3-0 a few minutes later with a goal off a corner kick.
Osborn completed the Polk scoring in the second half, looping in a drive from the right side of the penalty box in the 45th minute.
Rugby added a late goal to complete the scoring.
