Polk County Middle now knows its first-round opponents, dates and venues for the Blue Ridge Conference postseason volleyball and boys soccer tournaments.

The Wolverine volleyball squad won a tiebreaker with Apple Valley and will be the second seed from the East Division. That earned Polk Middle a home game on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. with Waynesville.

The Wolverines won a tiebreaker thanks to their win earlier this season over Rugby, the top seed in the East Division. That negated the need for a coin flip.

The Polk boys soccer squad earned the No. 2 seed in the East Division and will host Smoky Mountain on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
