Polk County Middle School added a win and a tie in the past week to its solid season to date.
The Wolverines earned a 3-0 win last Wednesday at Brevard Middle, then traveled to Rugby Middle on Monday and earned a 1-1 tie. Those results give Polk County a 6-2-1 record for the season.
Grayson Jones scored the lone goal on Monday for Polk County.
“We played pretty well, I thought, considering the conditions,” said Polk Middle head coach Travis Aldred.
Polk Middle enters the final three games of its regular season starting Wednesday as the Wolverines host Apple Valley in a 4:30 p.m. match.
