Polk County Middle School will hold boys soccer tryouts August 6, 7 and 11, with the season’s first practice scheduled for August 12.
Coach Lennox Charles announced the tryout schedule, which requires attendance at all three sessions for team consideration. The August 6 session runs from 5:45-8:30 p.m., followed by August 7 from 6-8:30 p.m. and August 11 from 5:45-8 p.m.
Students who need extra time on August 11 can wait in the supervised cafeteria before changing for tryouts.
All prospective players must have current concussion and physical forms on file before participating. Athletic Director John Ruth can verify form status at [email protected].
Previous team membership does not guarantee a roster spot for the 2025 season. Selected players must attend all practice sessions once tryouts conclude. The first practice is set for August 12 from 3:30-6 p.m.
