Polk JVs romp past East Rutherford

Polk County’s junior varsity scored early and often Monday, handing East Rutherford an 8-0 defeat in G.M. Tennant Stadium.

The Wolverines (8-3-1) raced to a 4-0 halftime lead, then doubled their tally in the second half en route to the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference triumph and their fourth straight win.

Ross Dow scored three goals for Polk County, including one just before the halftime whistle, with Tomas Santibanez, Erik Ramirez, Erik Pena, Hunter Ledford and Joshua Chavez-Jaimes also striking for the Wolverines.
