
A trio of Polk County players have been named to the All-Western Highlands Conference boys soccer squad.
Seniors Dylan Weicker, Austin Wolfe and Fernando Mondragon were selected to the all-conference team. Polk County finished 6-16 for the 2013 season.
Conference champion Owen swept the individual awards, with Caleb Ford named conference player of the year, Sam Linton named goalkeeper of the year and Tate McQueen named coach of the year.

Owen: Matt Browuer, Jessie Foreman, Ty Link, Arron Steinel
Hendersonville: Chris Abel, Calvin Compton, Billy Huerta, Young Perry, Tyler Self
Mountain Heritage: Sam O’Donnell, Gabriel Gutierrez, Tristin McCarty
Avery: Alex Magner, Carson Williams
Madison: David Coomer, Max Gardner, Zack Hollister, Zack Smith
Mitchell: Santiago Guerrero
