Ewan Pratt scored three goals and Garrett Weicker added two to lead Polk County to an 8-2 win Thursday at Mountain Heritage in a Western Highlands Conference soccer match.
Bouncing back from Wednesday’s loss at Owen, the Wolverines (9-4, 6-1) built a 6-0 halftime lead, scoring their first three goals off two corner kicks and a throw-in.
Jeremy Allsbrook, Wil Rimer and Brett Phipps each added goals. Allsbrook also finished with four assists, one shy of the school single-game record, with Rimer adding two assists and Ethan Edwards one.
Wilson Edwards had nine saves and Jonah Wyatt had eight for Polk County, which hosts Highlands on Saturday at 3 p.m.
