
Polk County’s junior varsity soccer squad will head into its final match on Monday at Hendersonville with a two-game winning streak.
The Wolverines (4-4-4), defeated Crest 4-1 on Oct. 12. Evan Rimer scored three goals for Polk County, which took a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Jack Tinkler added the other goal while Grayson Jones had two assists and Xavier Cardwell added an assist.
The Wolverines then handed Owen a 3-1 setback on Wednesday. Rimer scored two goals in that win, with Misael Roman scoring the third goal. Jones had two assists and Roman had an assist in the win.
