The second half featured five additional goals, highlighted by spectacular strikes from Mason Hudson and Ross Dow, who both found the upper corners from distance. Thomas Varnadore capitalized on a Madison defensive miscue, collecting a missed trap and finishing from close range.

Blake Anderson showcased his versatility, firing a low shot from a difficult angle before turning provider to set up Charlie Wagoner, goalkeeper-turned-forward, for his second goal of the season. The scoring display demonstrated Polk County’s depth and offensive firepower from multiple positions.

Assists were distributed across the roster, with Tallis Metcalf, Jonathan Aguirre, Highsmith, Meyer and Ashworth all setting up teammates. While the offensive players garnered attention, Will Garrison and David Alvarez anchored the defense, preserving the clean sheet and helping secure the Wolverines’ 12th victory of the season.

Madison dropped to 3-14-1, 2-6-1 with the loss.
