Freshman Cole Pereira made his varsity goal a memorable one, scoring the game-winner Wednesday for Polk County in a 3-2 victory at Chase.

Pereira tallied with some 12 minutes left on an assist from Isaac Edwards to help Polk County improve to 4-1 on the season. The Wolverines return home Thursday to face Crest, with junior varsity play beginning at 5 p.m.
