Owen JVs knock off Polk in WHC matchup

Owen handed Polk County its first conference loss on Monday with a 4-2 win in junior varsity boys soccer action in Swannanoa.

The Wolverines dropped to 3-6-2 overall, 1-1 in Western Highlands Conference play.

Elliot Whiteside scored the first goal for Polk, tallying off a Collier Foster throw-in. Whiteside then assisted the second goal, a score by Andy Ballentine.
