Justice prevailed Wednesday for Polk County Middle – even in a driving rain.
Wolverine eighth grader Owen Justice scored the lone goal of the afternoon as Polk Middle edged past Brevard Middle 1-0 in a Blue Ridge Conference matchup at Utz Field.
A passing shower pelted players for most of the second half. But that didn’t stop Justice from taking a pass from Angel Roman and finding the net in to help Polk Middle (7-3-1) snap a scoreless tie in the second half and rebound from Tuesday’s loss to Apple Valley.
