Fatz dinner planned for Wolverine soccer fundraiser

Polk County High School’s boys soccer team will hold a fundraising dinner, catered by Fatz Cafe, on Sept. 17 from 5-7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Team members are currently selling tickets for the dinner, for which Fatz will serve its Calabash Chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, poppyseed rolls, banana pudding and tea. Adult tickets are $10 and children under six eat free (limit of one free ticket per adult ticket).

All tickets must be purchased by Sept. 14. No walk-ins will be allowed.

The soccer team is raising money to buy new uniforms. Anyone wanting to buy a ticket can do so from a player or in the Polk County High School athletic office. Those with questions can call the school at 828.894.2525.
