
Polk County’s Isaac Edwards has been named the Western Highlands Conference Player of the Year, with teammate Grayson Jones and head coach Josh Trejo also earning conference honors.
Edwards led Polk County with 25 goals and also had 16 assists as the Wolverines finished 19-3 and won the WHC regular-season title.
Jones, who had 24 goals and 22 assists, was named the WHC Offensive Player of the Year while Trejo was named the conference’s Coach of the Year after Polk County went undefeated in league play.
Polk County also placed five other players on the All-WHC squad, those including Sean Hudson, Nicolas Lopez, Greyson Ball, Adam Kehrer and Matias Akers.
