Brevard Middle slips past Polk Middle, 1-0

Brevard Middle eked out a 1-0 win Monday over Polk County Middle in a Blue Ridge Conference matchup in Brevard.

The Blue Devils (7-3) scored early in the second half to take the lead, then held on as the Wolverines (5-5-1) were unable to find the net.

Charlie Wagoner had four saves for Polk Middle, which concludes its regular season on Wednesday, hosting Rugby Middle for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
