Arrington’s hat trick lifts Polk Middle past Rugby

Shane Arrington scored three goals Monday to lead Polk County Middle School to a 4-3 victory in boys soccer action on a soaked Polk Middle field.

Arrington’s hat trick enabled Polk to improve its record to 7-2 overall. The Wolverines are scheduled to host Apple Valley on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Jackson Geddings added the other goal for the Wolverines, who will take a three-game winning streak into Wednesday’s game. Apple Valley defeated Polk Middle earlier this season.
