Wolverines to host three-team boys scrimmage

Polk County boys basketball fans can get their first look at this year’s Wolverines during a three-team scrimmage Wednesday at Polk County.

Chase and Franklin will join the Wolverines in the preseason event, which begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $2.

Each team will play each other for 10-minute quarters with a running clock. The three teams will swap in and out, with plans calling for each varsity team to play at least three rounds and the junior varsity teams to play one round.

All Polk County teams open their regular season on Tuesday, hosting East Henderson.
