A cold shooting night helped send Polk County to a 51-37 loss Friday to East Henderson in a non-conference clash at Polk.
The Wolverines (2-2) hit just 13-of-57 shots from the field, the 23 percent effort making it tough to overcome the slow tempo favored by the Eagles (1-3).
“Our young team experienced what it felt like to play three out of four days,” said Polk head coach Lemont Jones. “Our legs let us down and it affected our shooting.”
