Jamal Wheeler scored 26 points and Wes Mullis added 14 to lead Polk County to a 65-56 win Thursday at Brevard.
Wheeler added six steals and six assists as Polk County improved to 2-1 on the season. The Wolverines host Landrum on Friday.
Polk County built a 31-22 halftime lead, then extended the margin to 50-38 entering the final quarter.
