The game-changing surge began after Polk County (4-16, 2-9) had shown signs of life, with Dallas Littlejohn’s 3-pointer cutting the deficit to 41-31 with 5:56 remaining in the third quarter. But East Rutherford (7-17, 6-6) responded by scoring the next eight points, igniting a run that pushed their advantage to 61-35 heading into the final period.

Aaron Jackson led all Polk County scorers with 28 points. Khristian Littlejohn added 12 points, with Dallas Littlejohn scoring five. Jayce Edwards and Chase Stansbury each added four points while Luke Garrison finished with two.
