Polk County Middle School’s boys basketball squad remained undefeated Monday with a 31-18 win at Apple Valley in Blue Ridge Middle School Conference play.
The Wolverines, now 8-0, were led by DJ Twitty and Arnie Twitty, each with 12 points.
The Polk Middle girls squad rebounded from its first loss of the season last week to defeat Apple Valley 36-20. Autumn Owen scored 10 points to lead the Wolverines, who improved to 7-1.

Both squads are again in action on Tuesday, traveling to Brevard Middle School.
