Patriots race away in second half to top Wolverine JVs

Madison pulled away in the second half Tuesday to hand Polk County a 42-17 setback in boys junior varsity basketball action in Marshall.

The Patriots held a 22-13 lead at the half, but held the Wolverines (8-10) to just four points in the second half.

Bryson Edwards scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds to pace Polk County, with Davin Hines scoring four points. Shaq Wingo had three points, with Ben Hardin adding two.

Nathan Mann hauled in seven rebounds for Polk County, which returns home Wednesday to face Robbinsville.
