Tori Thompson scored eight points Thursday to lead a balanced Polk County Middle School attack as the Wolverines rolled to a 37-17 win over Apple Valley in girls basketball action in Hendersonville.
Thompson hit a pair of 3-pointers as nine different players scored for the Wolverines, now 3-1. Apple Valley dropped to 0-4 with the loss.
Polk County returns to action on Monday, hosting undefeated Hendersonville Middle at 4:30 p.m.
