Polk County Middle rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to earn a 55-50 win over Macon Middle School in a Blue Ridge Middle School Conference boys basketball game at Polk Middle.

In winning their season opener, the Wolverines (1-0) also gave new head coach John Rochford a win in his debut.

Elijah Sutton and Amir Gary led a fourth-quarter charge as Polk Middle rebounded from what Rochford called a ‘sloppy’ first half.
