Littlejohn earns final victory in West vs Mid-West 1A All-Star Basketball Game

Polk County senior guard Kris Littlejohn had one final chance Saturday to don his Wolverine uniform on the basketball court.

Littlejohn took part in the West vs Mid-West 1A All-Star Basketball Games, held in Bessemer City and matching players from smaller schools throughout Western North Carolina. Littlejohn helped lead the Mid-West squad to a 110-77 victory.

The game, though, was just part of the All-Star experience for Littlejohn, who also got to join his family for the All-Star Banquet earlier Saturday at Walnut Grove Church in Dallas.

Former North Carolina State standout Rodney Monroe, the 1991 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, spoke at the banquet, during which the all-star players and coaches were each recognized.
