Jackson, Littlejohn power Polk to triumph over Chase

Aaron Jackson scored 22 points to lead Polk County to a 65-46 victory over Chase in Thursday’s non-conference boys basketball matchup at Polk.

Jackson scored 14 of his points in the second half as the Wolverines (1-1) pulled away from the Trojans. Khristian Littlejohn added 17 points, including 11 in the first half, as Polk County built a 29-16 halftime lead.

Jessie Moore contributed nine points for the Wolverines. Nate Fagan scored six, Nolan Simpson and Khalil Austin each added four, Brady Carroll had two and Curtis Simmons finished with one.

Chase fell to 0-2.

Polk County hosts East Henderson on Tuesday.
