Hendersonville Middle topples Polk Middle

Hendersonville Middle’s Isaiah Suber scored 18 points to lead the Bearcats to a 45-25 victory over Polk County Middle in Thursday’s Blue Ridge Conference boys basketball action at Polk.

Hendersonville Middle (5-4) built a 26-12 halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half.

Carter Cash led Polk County Middle (1-10) with nine points. Owen Justice added six, Mason Proctor and Peyton Waters each scored four and Ty Searcy finished with two.

Polk County Middle hosts Flat Rock on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
