Flat Rock pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat Polk County Middle 49-33 in Thursday’s Blue Ridge Conference boys basketball action in Flat Rock.
The Eagles (1-4) outscored the Wolverines 27-4 in the final period, with Aaden Hill scoring 10 of his 19 points and Ross Adams adding 13 of his 19 points in the quarter.
Polk Middle (0-5) held a 14-10 halftime lead and took a 29-22 advantage into the fourth quarter before Flat Rock rallied for the victory.

Owen Justice led the Wolverines with 16 points, including four 3-pointers. Matthew Sokil added 10, Peyton Waters scored four and Austin Love finished with three.
Polk County Middle travels to Brevard Middle on Monday.
