East Henderson stormed to a 21-point lead in the first period and went on to post a 50-20 victory Wednesday over Polk County in junior varsity boys basketball action in Flat Rock.
The Eagles (3-2) opened a 24-3 advantage at the end of the first period and extended that margin to 40-10 at halftime.
Keyan Simpson led Polk County (0-5) with 14 points. Dre Thompson and Nate Fagan each added three points.
