Brevard Middle pulls away to topple Polk Middle

Brevard Middle handed Polk County Middle a 59-33 defeat Monday in Blue Ridge Conference boys basketball play in Brevard.

The Blue Devils (4-2) built a 29-17 halftime lead and pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Wolverines 30-16 over the final two quarters.

Matthew Sokil led Polk County Middle (0-6) with 12 points, adding seven rebounds. Owen Justice added nine, Peyton Waters scored four, Ryland Waters finished with three, Carter Cash and Austin Love each had two, and Liam Tessnair added one.
