Wolverine golfers outdistance Vikings in Meadowbrook match

Polk County’s boys golf team posted a 51-stroke victory Friday over Avery in a Western Highlands Conference match at Meadowbrook Golf Course.

The Wolverines posted a team total of 329 to easily top Avery’s 380.

Avery Harden paced the Wolverines with a 3-over par 73. Carson Emory added an 81, with Evan Jones firing an 84.

Reilly Yoder carded an 89 and Casey Beiler added a 93 for Polk County.
