Wolverine golfers nip Madison in TCC encounter

Brody Wilkins shot a 79 and Tourin Jackson added an 82 to lead Polk County to a four-stroke victory over Madison in Thursday’s Western Highlands Conference golf match at Tryon Country Club.

Tallis Metcalf contributed an 88, Piercen Edwards shot 89 and Gage Harden rounded out the scoring with a 101 for the Wolverines, who finished with a team score of 338 to Madison’s 342.

Madison’s Abram Allison was medalist with a 76.
