Wilkins opens play in Blue Ridge Conference golf tourney

Polk County Middle’s Brody Wilkins opened play Monday in the Blue Ridge Conference Golf Tournament at Springdale Resort in Canton.

Playing the challenging Springdale layout, Wilkins posted a score of 44 on a windy afternoon.

He’ll return Wednesday to Cummings Cove Golf and Country Club in Hendersonville for the final round of competition.
