Wilkins fires low score as Polk Middle takes second in tri-match

Brody Wilkins claimed medalist honors Monday as Polk County Middle finished second in a Blue Ridge Conference golf match at Meadowbrook Golf Course.

Wilkins carded a 45 to pace the field, which included Flat Rock Middle and Hendersonville Middle.

The Wolverines finished with a team score of 219, just behind Hendersonville’s 216. Flat Rock took third with a 233.

Polk Middle will host Rugby Middle and Brevard Middle on Tuesday at Tryon Country Club.
