Polk County sophomore Morgan Stott wrapped up her first season of varsity golf this week, taking part in the Western Highlands Conference tournament.

Stott put together her best nine holes of the season in Monday’s opening round at Hendersonville Country Club, finishing the 18-hole round in 10th place out of 14 competitors.

“My goal for her this season was to get comfortable playing and she did,” said Polk County head coach Ty Stott. “I think with a few lessons and playing and practicing between now and next season, she can really enjoy golf.”
