Polk County Middle’s boys golf team opened its season Tuesday with a win over Brevard Middle at Meadowbrook Golf Club.
Owen Justice fired a 42 to earn medalist honors, leading a team effort that included Waylon Hill (45), Gabe Stansbury (50) and Jackson Blotner (57).
“Everyone played well today,” said Polk Middle head coach Kenny Hall. “I’m looking forward to watching these guys improve this season.”

The Wolverines are back in action next Tuesday, hosting Hendersonville Middle for a match at Tryon Country Club.
