Polk golfers claim four-team match at Bright’s Creek

Brody Wilkins and Tourin Jackson finished first and second individually to lead Polk County to victory in Thursday’s four-team golf match at Bright’s Creek.

Wilkins shot a 40 to claim medalist honors, while Jackson finished one stroke behind at 41 in the season opener for the Wolverines.

Piercen Edwards added a 45, Gage Harden shot 49 and Aiden Billings rounded out the scoring with a 52 as Polk County totaled 175 to win the match.

East Rutherford finished second with 185, followed by East Henderson (199) and North Henderson (218).

Polk County is slated to travel Tuesday to Mountain Air Country Club for its next match.
