
Emory takes medalist honors as Polk golfers top Hendersonville
Carson Emory earned medalist honors Tuesday to lead Polk County to a dual-match win over Hendersonville in boys golf action at Hendersonville Country Club.
Emory fired a 37 in the nine-hole match for the low score of the day as Polk County notched a team score of 160, besting Hendersonville by six shots.
Evan Jones posted a 40 while Avery Harden added a 41, with Reilly Yoder carding a 42. Braxton Edwards had a 49 for the Wolverines.
Polk County has a match scheduled Thursday at Crooked Creek Golf Course, weather permitting.
