Polk County Middle School pounded out 11 hits Monday, scoring in every inning but one en route to a 10-0 five-inning win over Asheville Christian Academy at Polk County Recreation Complex.
Elijah Sutton and Tyler Harris each had three hits to lead the attack for the Wolverines, who improved to 2-2 with their second straight 10-0 win.
Harris drove in four runs with his 3-for-3 effort and also had a stolen base. Sutton finished 3-for-4. Leland Henderson was 1-for-3 with two RBI, and Holden Owens finished 1-for-2 with an RBI and a steal.

The Wolverines scored a pair of runs in the first inning, then opened a 5-0 lead with three runs in the third before doubling that score with a five-run fourth.
Brandon Ridings earned the win, pitching 2 1/3 innings and striking out five. Clark Phipps added an inning and two-thirds of hitless relief before Avery Edwards pitched a scoreless fifth to end the game.
Polk Middle travels Wednesday to face Macon Middle School in a 4:30 p.m. game.
