Polk County senior Gunnar Alm has been named the Western Highlands Conference Player of the Year, Billy Alm has been named Coach of the Year and six other Wolverines earned all-WHC baseball honors.
Gunnar Alm led the conference in most offensive categories in helping drive Polk County to the WHC regular-season championship. It marked the third conference crown for Billy Alm as the Wolverines’ head coach.
Joining Alm on the All-WHC squad were seniors Noah Harden, Aaron Jackson, Cooper Meyer and Alex Perry, sophomore Nate Fagan and freshman Gavin Waldbillig.

Madison’s Zane Buckner was named the league’s Pitcher of the Year.
